We are very pleased to welcome Silvia Padula to our modelling team. Previous to joining us, Silvia was a research associate at the University of Manchester where she focussed on using mathematical programming and simulation techniques to model water resources systems.
Silvia has a PhD in Water Resources Management as well as a BEng and a MsC degree in Environment Engineering. Her work experience includes consulting for Anglian Water and the ‘Water Resources of the South East’ group where she performed ‘capacity expansion’ optimisation (EBSD). She also participated in the EU FP7 ‘SmartH20’ project where she worked on modelling the effects of proposed dynamic water tariffs.
When not immersed in all things water, Silvia is a budding author and has written a collection of short stories that she hopes to publish one day.
